PAYMENT


Credit Card Online

Rother Valley Farm accepts all major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Delta Solo and Maestro (not American Express). We require your payment details when you place an order so please have them ready. We cannot accept cheques or postal orders for payment of your order when shopping on-line.

We always try to cut the meat to the exact weight ordered but it may differ slightly from the on-line estimate. We cannot increase or decrease your original payment but we can take an addition payment of up to 15% more to cover small increases in weights. If your order weighs slightly less or if there is something out of stock we will refund you the difference.

We will include an itemised invoice which shows the final accurate weights and costs with your order. You will find an invoice in a plastic pouch attached to the box. We aim to provide an order as close to your preferred weights as possible.

 

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card details are handled via encrypted communications (secure socket layer) through our online transaction partner SagePay using their world-class service and security. We do not handle or store any credit card details on our system, nor do we ever request personal or credit card details from customers by email.

 

Our Guarantee

We are committed to providing you with wonderful meat – but, if for any reason our meat does not arrive in perfect condition, or you are unhappy with any part of your order please inform us within 24 hours of acceptance of delivery. Packaging and Weights

Your order is supplied vacuum packed*, perfect for freezing for future use. If you would like your order to be loose bagged please call or send an e-mail when you order. Either way, our packaging ensures the quality of the meat is maintained whether the meat is consumed fresh or frozen as it is dispatched and delivered in insulated ice packed boxes for maximum freshness. All the meat is clearly labelled with the cut, the date of processing and weight. It can be kept in the fridge to be eaten by its ‘use by’ date or frozen immediately and kept up to three months. 

* please note that whole fresh chicken, turkey, goose and duck are normally loose packed.

We aim to provide a cut of meat as close to the weights detailed on the website as possible. 

 

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us by phone or email no later than 24 hours from placing your order.

 

Out of Stock Items

Although we make every effort to ensure we can offer the whole range of meat and cuts, sometimes we will not have some options, either due to seasonality or demand. If this is the case and one of the items you have ordered are not in stock we will inform you immediately so you can choose an alternative option or cancel the order.
